The Tree Hub

The Tree Hub is an evolving concept now being delivered on a site in mid-Cornwall by our sister company Arbor Farm UK Ltd.

The Tree Hub has been designed to support the effective delivery of targets set by national and local environmental and decarbonisation policies, including the NFU’s Achieving Net Zero, Cornwall Council’s Forest for Cornwall, the Draft Cornwall Council Farms Strategy, the Environmental Growth Strategy and Climate Change Action Plan.

The aims of the Tree Hub are:

  • To research and develop the production of local bio-secure, sustainably grown trees and shrubs.
  • To provide innovation in tree-related goods and services in both urbanised and rural landscapes.
  • To design and deliver the robust, diverse and multi-functional treescapes and land management systems of the future.
  • To develop training and skills for private and public sectors to ensure that new plantings and existing trees reach their full-potential.
  • To incentivise landowners to strategically invest in trees and their proactive management.

Further details on the need for the Tree Hub (formerly ‘Environmental Growth Hub’) its design concept, and proposed services can be found in our Stakeholder Briefing Note.
